Mr. Tuxbury has over 15 years of experience in the institution retirement plan marketplace. His primary area of expertise is 401(k) plan design, including advising executives and professionals on the legal requirements of qualified retirement plans, addressing issues concerning pension plan investments and developing strategies to mitigate fiduciary liability.
At New Wealth Advisors, Scott is responsible for the firm’s Retirement Plan Advisory Practice. He couples his knowledge of retirement plan design and administration with his expertise in investments, risk management and retirement planning. He is actively involved in the administrative oversight of corporate pension plans with the goal of enhancing plan performance and ultimately participant outcomes. His client base relies on him to assist them in meeting their fiduciary responsibilities, adhering to ever-changing and complex ERISA regulations and meeting their overall goal of providing best-in-class retirement plans for their organizations.
Prior to joining New Wealth Advisors, Scott served as President of Lyons Benefit Partners, an employee and executive benefits consulting firm specializing in the design, administration, and financing of compensation and benefits programs. Scott’s financial experience also includes executive level positions with Franklin Templeton Investments, Dailyaccess Corporation and Fidelity Investments.
